I started reading the new Fandy book, Halcyon, last night, and while I have a couple little snits like a British military team accompanying Sheppard's and referring to flashlights as torches (the author couldn't possibly be a Brit, could he???) overall it's tons better than The Chosen. So far, at least. Call me cynical ;)
