It depends what the meaning of the word "nuanced" is:

Sen. John F. Kerry's grade average at Yale University was virtually identical to President Bush's record there, despite repeated portrayals of Kerry as the more intellectual candidate during the 2004 presidential campaign.

Kerry had a cumulative average of 76 and got four Ds his freshman year -- in geology, two history courses and political science, The Boston Globe reported Tuesday.

(from Right Thinking)

When they write about my grades during my Presidential bid, the worst they will be able to say is that I got a C in Syntax and Semantics and a B- in Lesbian Whining Gender Studies.

I was the one in the hat.

But, seriously, I fully expect our generation to have our internet time come back to haunt us in future political stuff. Same way those before us got taken down by things they wrote while in some bizarre radical group or other.

And "lesbian whining" could be hard to spin your way out of.
Well, equally ultra-liberal economics seems to be the whining of straight white men going "oh noes!1! mi cash-penis iz teh hurt bai p00r pplz!! dey r steel mi cock!!2". And let's not even *touch* the Daddy Issues involved in lying to get an excuse for war* with someone Dubyah's dad failed to get rid of. Or the idea of guns as phallic power that *must* be preserved above all else. But it'd be a horrific over-simplification to say "Dubyah invaded Iraq because he has a wee penis."

Course, we all know Mrs Wollstonecraft was straight, and she managed to do quite a lot to found gender studies. Or indeed Mme. de Bouvoir, who was Mrs Satre in all but name. Or even Mrs Adams, the Founding Mother. (And now, for an exercise in gender studies, we ask why we never hear of "Founding Mothers".) Lesbians possibly *do* notice it more, though, given that they can't piggyback into power on a husband's name.

*When "humanitarian intervention" would have been a damn fair excuse, albeit one that then demands we all invade China, who do actually have WMDs and are thus scary. Btw, when are we scheduled to go into Darfur?
