Zinefic

My first draft is done!

17 pages and 8,200 words of McWeiry goodness. I hope. It's also extremely silly, but that was done on purpose. Really.

Now I have to print it out and edit it. I just can't do a proper editing job unless it's on paper.

Lunch first, then printing, then I can take it with me and do some work during the boring parts of class tonight.

sjhw_tolerance, will have it to you tomorrow. Thank you for your patience :)

(Now I just have to get my way-late Threads review written. Eep.)

Lunch first.

of McWeiry goodness

How can it be good when you're calling it "mcweir"!!! AUGH! It's McKay/Weir! Or Rod/Liz!

RESIST THE WHEDONVERSE SHORTENINGS! RESIST!

*sigh* I need Atlantis icons.
*prods alli*

Gah. I hate pairing contractions. They put me in mind of idiots who stalk actors and punctuate every mail with a multitude of exclamation marks.
17 pages of Mcweir - you're my hero!
And when might this is be gracing a computer screen near me?
Well you're still my hero for writing it anyway; definitely not enough Mcweir fic out there.
You mean like an online zine??
Nope... the old-fashioned printed kind. Revelation Volume III. I'm not sure what the exact breakdown is, but it's going to have both SG1 and SGA shipfic. Here's the blurb about our last volume.
Wow thanks! I never knew stuff like this existed - it's great that it does. You must be a talented writer to get your work published like this.
First of all! *catches breath after seeing that beautiful Shep/Teyla pic* Man! That's HOT! Okay.

*breathing returns to normal*

What am I here for? Oh yeah. Reading that blurb about last year's makes me feel awestruck that I'm going to be in this one.

No, what was I really here for? To say that I have to edit on paper, too. So much so that even when I get beta notes from other people, I have to take a bright-colored pen and put the notes onto my hard copy. my zine fic has scribbles in 5 colors from the betas and my own notes taken at different times.

LOL. Thank you :D

I should think the Threads review would be easy. One word--Squeee! or maybe Sam & Jack Forever. Or a big raspberry. :-)
