(no subject)

I'm a little nervous posting this meme, but what the hell.

If there is any question you would like to ask me about any one of my fics, then go ahead! What I meant by a particular line, why I chose that characterisation, what I was listening to as I wrote, what crack I was taking and where you can get some ... anything. Anything you might like to know about how I wrote a fic, I shall do my best to answer.

Work tomorrow, 7:45 - 3:30. And yes, that's 7:45am. We actually are open from 6am to midnight tomorrow, so as hours go those aren't too shabby. It's the last day of our current sale, with some extra stuff going on 6-noon, so it should be busy... but really, busy is a good thing compared to not busy, because not busy is when the assistant managers make you put things away or collect empty hangers or, God forbid, fold things. At least when I'm being swamped at the register I'm doing what I was trained to do. And I'm using my brain a bit as well. I mean, a properly trained monkey could fold shirts, but I think it would take at least a highly trained gorilla to work the register. And then it would have to have a specially designed keyboard with larger keys.

Should also get next week's schedule tomorrow. A part of me hopes that I'll be working more hours than I have the past two weeks, for monetary purposes, but a part of me also likes sleeping. Plus the semester is winding down and everything seems to be coming due at once. Ack!

To top it off, Wake the Dead has aired (in Canada) and I have not seen it. Suprnova has been down all day. I am very sad. But I did read on tvtome that they've put HG back in the opening credits, and that gives me hope. I mean, why credit her for a single episode if she's not going to stick around?

Trying to decide if I should go to bed early, or spend the next fifty minutes or so working on my JL fic.

Decisions, decisions.

Busy is also better because it makes the day go by faster. And like you said, it keeps the managers off your bum. I swear if I hear the words "there's always something to do" one more time I'm gonna maul somebody.

So does that mean Canada's now ahead in something else?
Oh shut up ;)

I think Cartoon Network is holding off (the news ep air here in about a month) so they can do what they did last year -- go right from this season finale into next season's premiere.
