Just got back from a night out with dad. We went to see Team America: World Police, which was incredibly raunchy and offensive but also pretty hysterical. My favorite part was the music, from the twangy country ballad Freedom Isn't Free ("'Cause the only reason that you're here / Is 'cause folks died for you in the past / So maybe now it's your turn / To die kicking some a$$") to the aptly-titled theme America, F--- Yeah to the classic I'm So Ronery ("I work very hard and make up great prans / But nobody ristens, no one understands / Seems that no one takes me serirousry / And so I'm ronery..."). But my favorite has to be The End of an Act:

"I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark,
When he made Pearl Harbor.
I miss you more then that movie missed the point,
And that's an awful lot girl.
And now, now you've gone away,
And all I'm trying to say,
Is Pearl Harbor sucked, and I miss you."

In other news, man, I have so much stuff to do before this semester is over.

Monday: Science unit evaluation, EL reading, finish unit plan, meet with my EL partner.
Wednesday: Math presentation, math fieldwork writeup

It know it doesn't look like all that much, actually, but it's on top of work, and plus I somehow need to find time to finish my fieldwork. I only have half of the hours I need for science and just about three weeks to do the remaining five, and that's not knowing my work schedule and with my current science fieldwork teacher switching to social studies week after next, which means I'll need to locate someone else.

*bangs head*

Tomorrow I work 3-11pm. I really really want to sleep in, but I'm in need of socks and other intimate apparel and work is having an early bird sale tomorrow, so for the sake of saving a few bucks I'm going to go down in the morning and buy my stuff then. Then I'm going to come home, do some laundry, and try to either make my room look habitable again, or do some homework, whichever sounds least unpleasant.
