Of course, the bad thing is that now I have to suffer until I get Island and Windy Poplars.

Hm. I wonder if the local library has it... Somehow I doubt it, since even the big UOP library only has the first book, and a picture-book version for kids.

Well... off to look for a new book to read in the meantime.

ETA: Okay, I told myself I wouldn't, and I'll probably regret it, but I'm going to attempt to reread the 5th HP book. The first time around it depressed and aggravated and confused me. If I'm lucky, maybe I can knock off at least one of those -- probably 'confused' ;)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the local library.

I was wondering, would you mind if I stole copied your idea of doing a reading list? I've started gravitating back to reading actual books this year, rather than fic and I like your idea of a reading list. Plus, seeing A Wrinkle in Time etc on your list caused me to go out and buy them (I loved them, especially A Swiftly Tilting Planet), so I figure it's a good way to share my book 'recs'. *g*

Go right ahead!
