Just finished watching Unbreakable on ABC. First time I had seen it. Certainly it's not as gripping as Signs or Sixth Sense, but it's still very good and has a nice punch at the end. Plus, Bruce Willis kicks ass.

I can't wait to see The Village. It looks like a good, mature scarefest :D

Tomorrow is the last day of class before dead day and finals. Can't sleep in too late because I may have some errands to run. I'm going to go in to the Mac lab early and hopefully be able to get a computer -- they're quite in demand these days with all the projects coming due. There I can add in the flash for our website project -- for some reason I can't do it on my computer -- and then go to Pedagogy... I think all we're doing there is the obligatory course evaluation. Then I'm packing up some clothes and Wally and heading home til my first final on Thursday.

The Stargate Novels website has new info up on Doc's book. Gave me a thrill to see her name there like that :)

I hope choosing her as the author to write the first of those novels will proved to be a good one. To be honest I'm thrilled about it more than the show itself.

Can't wait til it's published. *g* I've looked at a few of the SG novels that have been published so far, but I've never read any of them. There were a few that I thought looked good, but when I flicked through the first few pages, they seemed to be written by someone who had never watched the show! At least I know that this won't the case with Trial by Fire. :)
I've read all of the Stargate novels to date. It was a very painful experience. They started out mediocre and just got worse. The last one... unspeakably awful, mistakes galore... and yeah, I don' t see how the author could have possibly been even slightly familiar with the show and written dreck like that.

*shudders at the memory*
Thanks for telling me that. *g* Every so often, I think to myself, 'I wonder if I should buy one? Just to make sure that they really as bad as I suspect." However, after hearing that about them, I'll not bother, I'll just wait for Doc's novel. *g*
This book is so gonna kick ass. We all know Doc is the best writer to ever grace our humble fandom.

Thanks for the link.
I have to say, I liked Unbreakable more on a second viewing. The first time, around I spent most of it comparing it to Sixth. The second time, I spent more time watching for the little touches.
