I watched Century City tonight. It was surprisingly good for a show that airs on Saturday night on ABC. And JR was there! Although I didn't understand why the dad didn't just donate the liver himself. A clone's a clone, right?

I'm about 2/3 done with The First Five Pages. Very interesting stuff.

The gals reminded me tonight about the Stargate Fanfic Awards. Now that they have a more reasonable management, I'm thinking about doing something shocking and actually nominating stories! I just... have no idea what I would nominate. I've done so little fanfic reading lately... probably even less reading than writing, if you can imagine that. As far as my own fanfic goes, I would really love to see Fireflies nominated for something, but it's so off the beaten path (character death and /other is surprisingly, um, not endearing). Other than that, my favorite recent story is my How SG-1 Saved Christmas poem. Sad, eh? ;)

I took the OK Cupid test at thespark.com...
The Priss
Deliberate Brutal Love Dreamer (DBLDf)

Mature. Responsible. Aristocratic. Excuse me. The Priss.

Prisses are the smartest of all female types. You're highly perceptive, and confident in your judgements. You'd take brutal honesty over superficiality any time--your friends always know where they stand with you. You're completely unfake. Don't tell me that's not a word. You're also excellent at redirecting internal negative energy.

These facts indicate people are often intimidated by you. They also fall for you, hard. You have a distant, composed allure that many find irresistible. If only more of them lived up to your standards.

You were probably the last among your friends to have sex. And the first to pretend that you're pregnant. LOL. Though you're inclined to use sex as weapon, at least it's not as one of mass destruction. You're choosier than most about your partners. A supportive relationship is what you're really after. Whether you know it or not, you need something steady & long-term. And soothing.

ALWAYS AVOID: The Playboy, The Loverboy

CONSIDER: The Manchild

Alrighty then!

No fun links right now. Maybe later. It's funny, though. All the protest coverage I've seen, the articles I've read online from London papers and the ever unbiased BBC World never seem to give voice to those who feel differently, who supported the war, or even point out that the war (if not the restoration) is no longer in progress.

Oh, that liberal media.
