Deep thoughts

Here's the thing about THAT spoiler...

In the end, my brain doesn't care if it's from Grace or Lost City, if it's a dream or reality, if it was going to air tomorrow in all its glory or if that .5 seconds is all we'll ever see. Either way, my brain shuts down, exits my skull through the ear canal, and starts doing the backstroke in The Gutter of the Chosen People.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Does it even deserve spoiler space anymore? I dunno.

In other news, I actually ended up watching BG on SciFi, and it wasn't bad. I mean, I've never seen the original, which makes me either biased or unbiased, I'm not sure which. But I could follow the story, the characters are pretty vivid, there were emotional bits and cool effects. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest tomorrow.

*laughs at Alli*

And you were mocking me for talking about watching it! See what goodness you experienced because you watched BG? (I'm talking about the SG trailer.)

And it really wasn't that bad, if very slow to get moving. What I remember of the original series was after they had left the colonies and were trying to get back to Earth, so I can't compare this to the series. My understanding is that if this mini-series goes well, there is talk of making it into a new TV series. I guess we'll see.

I did like the fact that in the museum they had a Cylon suit from the original show described as "Cylon Centurion". That was funny.

I guess the 2 cylon soldiers we saw in the beginning were completely CGI. I guess that made it harder for the actress who plays the blonde cylon chick - although they must appear more if that is the case.

Oh well, looking forward to tonight. :D
So you knew there was going to be a SG commercial during BG before you started watching it? Wow, you really are well informed. And here was I thinking you must have watched BG for an hour before the add appeared. ;)

*giggling a LOT*

And desperately wishing I had easy access to SciFi right about now. When I go back to Columbus for Christmas. Not. Soon. Enough!!!

(Yeah, I'm sure I can dl it somewhere in squintyvision, and if I have any time in the next couple days I will, but just not the same somehow...)
