What I did today

I finished all my chores yesterday, so I let myself have an 'out' day today. I...

Had breakfast at Panera: a cinnamon crunch bagel with raspberry cream cheese, and coffee.

Went to the bookstore and bought Emma, Mansfield Park and Persuasion. Because I really need more to read. But I was in a JA mood because last night Mom and I watched Persuasion (the 1995 movie version), and the Emma and MP movies are on the Netflix queue.

Went to the new theater and saw The Unborn. Hardly any gore -- mainly grotesqueness -- and a fairly predictable plotline. It also didn't help that several of the spookiest bits are spoiled in the commercials/previews. But the female lead was good, and Gary Oldman... well, his part was small but he is always awesome. Also it gave me a plotbunny, which I jotted down in my teeny notebook before I left the theater.

Bought some more fishies from PetSmart -- three tetras and an algae eater.

Now I am eating leftover pizza for lunch and watching Brit Hume interview GW.

24

My first comment is: where the hell is Chloe? It is not 24 without Chloe, dammit.

That said, Jack is as awesome as it is possible to be awesome without dropping dead from an overload of sheer awesome.

Is anyone else hoping for a little Jack/Renee Walker?

Also, Tony being bad makes baby Jesus cry.
