Looks like I have a fieldwork placement at my old elem. again -- Thursdays, 8:45 to 10:15. Perfect!

The coordinator at the school has to confirm it with the first grade teacher she has in mind (she was out sick yesterday... there's a flu going around... wonderful... but she seemed confident.

Not scheduled to work today, although they're entirely likely to call at the drop of a hat and ask me to come in. We'll see. I need the money, but I also really need some time. I still feel like I haven't decompressed from the trip, my room has looked like a bomb hit since Christmas, I have bunches of homework, and lets not even get into how long it's been since I've worked on Redux. Yipes.

Going to talk to Jessica tomorrow about being a "mother's helper" for her a couple evenings a week. I babysat for her two sons the first summer I worked at Dainty; she's a very nice lady, and the extra money would be nice as well. The only concern I have is my weird schedule at Kohl's. Currently I'm only getting maybe 15 hours a week, but sometimes those are closing shifts, and two weeknights a week I have school, so obviously those days are out. There's also the possibility that eventually we're going to end up with busier shifts because we've had quite a few people leaving for other jobs.

I don't want to overdo things (school, fieldwork, Kohl's, sleeping, etc), and I don't want to tell her that I can be her girl and then end up never being able to come over. But I'm going to go over there tomorrow and discuss it with her, and we'll see if we can come up with something that'll work for everybody.

Movie night again!

We watched Paparazzi, which was a good, sneaky vengence movie and Cellular, which was actually pretty awesome -- much better than I expected. Kim Basinger isn't exactly the greatest thing since sliced bread, but the story was pretty intense without being especially gorey and there was actually quite a bit of humor. The main character is very believable (not to mention rather cute) and it has William H. Macy, who I lurve. Watch it!
