You're Metamorphosis! You want to see Jack angst.
You want to see Sam needing a shoulder to lean
on. You think they're at their most adorable
when one or both are suffering. You're just
angsty cuteness! What Season 6 episode of SG-1 are you? brought to you by Quizilla
So obvious ;)
Secondly, I still love Joe. Thhhiiiiiiiissssss much! I mean, good lord, he's on OS defending ship and making the freakies heads' implode -- how do you not
love that, I ask you? How?!
Thirdly... woo, first day of work was interesting. I'm so not used to being that alert and on my feet so much. And let's not even get into the whole 'getting up at 7am' thing. But hey, I think I made like $60 or something today, and this is a good thing. I have the same hours tomorrow... may be staying a little longer, I'm not completely sure. But the good news is, I have all
of Friday off. Yay!
So what did I do today? Well, I started off in the infant room, which is simultaneously adorable and frightening. When they're cute they're so
cute, and when they're unhappy you want to run away screaming. Anyway, after not too long I was shuttled off to the Porcupine room, which is where the 3 and 4 year olds are. Interesting age. They've still got that terrible 2s 'testing boundaries' thing going on, but they're also (usually) beginning to have some respect for authority. Even the authority of someone they've never seen before, thankfully for me ;) They sing songs, they color, they play outside, they eat, they take naps, they play some more, eat some more... man, the life of a preschooler is tough ;) I spent a little time with the 2 year olds during naptime, too, but the gals there decided they "didn't want to do that to me on my first day". Personally, I don't have any problem with the age... I think it's hilarious that if you're sitting on the floor for more than three seconds you will invariably have a kid in your lap.
