I'm busy re-reading all the Harry potters for like the 100th time!! Love it!
I know, it's so awesome :) Although now I've gotten sidetracked re-reading Godheads for some fic research ;)
I enjoyed the Mistborn series and I currently have Warbreaker, a stand-alone by the same author, on my to-read pile :) I love how The Hunger Games is so well put together as a trilogy and deals with its subject matter. Daughter of Smoke and Bone...I really, really loved the first half. The second felt a bit like being hit over the head with 'here! Have epic romance! I will tell and not show!' Fingers crossed for the next book.

Thoughts? And any recommendations from the rest of your list?
I like all of Sanderson's (not-WoT) stuff. (Was never able to get into WoT.) Way of Kings is a monster and part one of like 7 or something, but the world-building is awesome. My first Sanderson book was Elantis, which is a neat stand-alone with very good characters.

I'm always happy to recc books, and not just stuff from this year's list. If you check out my books tab you can see I've been tracking my reading since 2006 and I have lots of bookish ruminations in those posts. Any genre in particular you like to read?
Yeah, the first Wheel of Time book didn't grab my attention and I've never ventured further, although I've been told that they get better *shrugs*. I like Elantis. It was a bit predictable maybe, but I liked the characters and dialogue, so all was forgiven. Way of Kings is also in my to-read pile, for a rainy day, it's a doorstop! Part one of seven and not another trilogy? Did not know that. Huge books ahead, heh.

Oh, I'll read pretty much anything :D I've added you as a friend on goodreads, hope that's okay? I'm over here.
