I actually liked it. Reminded me of a romantic The Giver.
It was okay. I think I liked Divergent more. *points to icon* Kind of flat emotionally but some nice concepts and turns of phrase. (Probably pretty unfair of me to read it right after THG ;)) But you're right, Cassia and Jonas would have gotten along well.

Random question... how did you pronounce Cassia's name in your head?

Also -- what is it with dystopian YA novels and first person present tense?

I dunno. Makes sense I guess considering the society, but that is a little interesting that they all seem to be that kind of narrative.

Just curious. There's a 3rd grader at my school with that name, but she pronounces it 'Kosh-a' :)
