Alias finale

Is it wrong of me to be thinking 'another show down the tubes'? I'll probably feel differently later... this is just a gut reaction, hopefully. But it just reek of reset-button-itis.

So the ending wasn't doing it for you? ;)

Hmm...can a show do two resets in one year?
Yeah, and you know, honestly, I feel bad even thinking that. I just had this sinking feeling the whole last ten minutes or so of the ep, and the ending was just blah. I hope the season premiere comes around and is totally kick ass and makes me feel like a moron for being so gloomy about this, in which case I will link to this very thread and go 'and I can't believe I was such a gloomy moron!' But my first reaction was still one of extreme lameness.
Well, I did like the fight scene - thought it was pretty good. :) But the ending? It's the kind of thing that makes you shake your head wondering how many episodes it's going to take to clean that up. Of course, they could just run with it and not turn back - which would be interesting. Guess it's hard to know exactly what it'll turn into next fall. But the ending - yeah, I laughed.
I thought the fight scene was too over the top... at the time I quite enjoyed it, but looking back... yes, Syd is kick ass, and this Allison person obviously was well trained herself, but come on! Heads were going through things and into things and there was much jumping and flying and falling. It was little a *little* too much.

As for the rest of it... well, Alias is famous for its cliffhangers, but I thought they've been pretty good at staying away from 'well, that just came out of left field' - ness. Until now, that is. And that's why I'm bummed, rightly or not.

Well, I guess they *did* get every mirror/window in the place. :D

Yeah, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see in the fall if it was as completely random of an ending as it appeared.

Reset? Worse... Lost years? Ick. People moving on when one person is gone?

Blech.
