Books 2011

I'd like to say that I've really gotten behind in updating this, but the sad truth is that I haven't been reading all that much. Unless you count the kids' books I read to my students :)

Read so far:

1. The Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicles) by Patrick Rothfuss [x] [N]
2. The Light of Eidon by Karen Hancock [x] [N]
3. Poison Study by Maria Snyder [N]
4. Kushiel's Dart by Jacquline Carey
5. Clockwork Heart by Dru Pagliassotti [x]
6. Pathfinder by Orson Scott Card [x] [N]
7. Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier
8. Wheel of the Infinite by Martha Wells [x] [L]
9. The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss [x] [N]
10. North and South by Elisabeth Gaskell [x] [N]

Currently reading:

Key: x = first time read | L = library book | A = audio book | N = nook

As far as what to read now... I don't know. Can't be something written in 1st person because I'm currently trying to write something in 3rd. I went through Amazon's SF/F section but I feel like everything there is 1) something I've already read, 2) vampire crap, 3) urban fantasy, which I find to be blegh, or... well I guess that's pretty much it. Or they're not well-priced for e-books. Sorry, I'm not paying $12 for an e-book when the physical version is $10. That's ridiculous.
