Just had a snack but I'm still hungry. I've been having weird cravings for California rolls... weird because I've only had them once, but now I keep thinking about them. There's a place about 2 miles away with good ratings so I might go get some take-out and give them a try.
Been fairly productive so far today. Target shopping, then came home and did a thorough cleaning of the floor. Also de-furred the furniture, cleaned out the fridge and did some general tidying in the kitchen. Sheets are in the wash. Tomorrow will be clothes, vacuuming, and grading papers. Could my life get any more exciting?
I'm about 2/3 done with Brandon Sanderson's The Way of Kings. It's over 1000 pages long, but I'm reading it on my Nook so who cares :D I'll actually be really sad when it's done because his writing style is so effortless to read. I lot of the time while I'm reading a book I'm kind of editing as I go along: "Oh, I wouldn't have used that word." "They could have edited this whole section down a lot." "Who's perspective is this chapter supposed to be from? They should have clarified it." But with Sanderson, and this book in particular, the writing has such, well, clean lines that I don't find myself doing that at all. It's just a good read, and I'm really looking forward to the whole epically long series. (And I told myself I'd never get sucked into another one of those mid-way again. If GRRM ever publishes another ASOIaF book, much less finishes the series, I may just fall over dead from the shock.)
