Dear USPS,

How many times do I have to ask you to leave packages on my porch instead of leaving a stupid "sorry we missed you" notice telling me to come pick my package at the post office? Yeah, I heard you ring the doorbell this morning... I was upstairs. If you'd left it there I would have come down and gotten it in a couple minutes. Instead, I now have to go to the website and ask you to redeliver it next week. I don't live in a high-crime area. I've never had anything stolen before. And over and over and over I've had to go through this same crap with you, and I'm sick of it.

You suck,
Alli

It's actually up to the shipper - some companies Will. Not. Leave. Packages. (Amazon is one, I believe.) They've paid the shipping, they set the conditions. You don't.

(I used to work for UPS - but it's the same for everyone.)

This package was from Amazon... but when I get Amazon packages delivered by UPS, they leave it. And USPS will leave it, I just have to remind them to do it every. single. time.
Also, if they're going to charge customers *for* the shipping, we should have some say in it.
