Since you've read the sequel, I take it you enjoyed Soulless? I just had a friend recommend it to me Monday night and I ordered it from Amazon... and, since I live in the Seattle area and have Amazon Prime, it actually arrived by courier yesterday! (Something that always freaks me out when it happens... I actually once had something arrive the same day I ordered it.) Still haven't had a chance to start it yet, but the premise is definitely intriguing.
Well, I enjoyed it more than I've enjoyed any novel including vampires and werewolves ;) It's a little steampunk, a little Austen, and the heroine is something else.
